How to measure the crankshaft stroke without the V-Stand ？

Step 1: Measure the distance from the main journal ( highest point ) to the web with a depth rule. And named distance A.

 

Step 2: Measure the distance from the conrod journal ( highest point ) to the web with a depth rule. And named distance B.

 

Step 3: Distance B minus Distance A. B-A named C.

 

Step 4: Measure the diamenter of the mian journal, named D.

 

Step 5: Measure the diameter ofthe conrod journal, named E.

 

 

Step 6: Stroke=C-1/2D+1/2E
