Generally speaking, if the wear depth of the crankshaft surface exceeds the design specification value by more than 20%, or there are deep pits, cracks, and other damages on the crankshaft surface, it is necessary to consider replacing the crankshaft. In addition, if the crankshaft hardness is too low and the balance is poor, it also needs to be replaced.
